About MindCalm

Welcome to MindCalm Ltd

I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and EMDR Therapist, offering professional, compassionate therapy, predominantly online, allowing clients to access sessions from anywhere in the UK. A limited number of face to face appointments are available in Sutton Coldfield.

At MindCalm, I provide evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). These structured approaches are proven to help with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and eating disorders.

  • CBT is a goal-oriented therapy that helps clients understand and change patterns of thinking and behaviour. It’s widely recommended by GPs due to its robust evidence base.

  • ACT focuses on helping individuals relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions by building psychological flexibility, encouraging values-based living, and cultivating mindfulness skills.

  • EMDR is primarily used to process and resolve traumatic memories, often associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related difficulties.

Mental health challenges can have a significant impact on daily life. Many of the clients I work with describe feeling persistently low, anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their usual selves. You may find these feelings are linked to specific events, or they may seem to come out of nowhere. You might also notice a withdrawal from activities you once enjoyed or reliance on coping strategies that feel unhelpful.

At MindCalm, I place great emphasis on building a strong therapeutic relationship in a supportive and non-judgemental space. Therapy is tailored to each individual, helping clients explore their experiences, make sense of what’s going on, and learn practical tools to move forward. Whether through CBT, ACT, or EMDR, the aim is to support meaningful and sustainable change — empowering you to maintain progress long after therapy ends.

I am fully accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner. This means I have completed rigorous training, adhere to professional standards, and regularly update my skills through supervision and continued professional development.

I offer a free initial telephone consultation to answer any questions you may have and explore whether CBT, ACT, or EMDR could be the right fit for you. There’s no pressure to book sessions following this call — it’s simply a chance to talk things through.
